We have created 28 New Snow VFX for you to download. These were all shot practically for optimal-realism. We have variations of 4K options, turbulent snow, heavy snow, snow-drops, flurries, and more. Several of these assets were built out to be loopable, so you’ll never have to worry about your effects being too short.

Snow Drops are great for things like wind blowing snow off of trees or from the roof of the house. These are fun-to-composite elements that will bring a new level of realism to your scene.

4K Snow Elements can be used in 1080p projects in fantastic ways. You can scale up to have foreground snow and scale down to have snow for the background. You can of course use them in 4K compositions as well.

Loopable Snow will let you create some unique projects. You can use looping snow over a photo to create a cinemagraph, or use them in any long-shot in your film. Check out our Free Loop Script for After Effects for more loopy goodness.

RenderCrate is making an explosive entrance to the year with the release of 5 grenade 3D models. These include:

These have been carefully crafted for immediate realism through the immensely powerful 4K textures built into them. This allows you to get up close to these assets while also maintaining a photorealistic render.

The assets in this bundle are provided in FBX, as well as OBJ format, meaning these objects will be compatible in Blender, Cinema4D, 3ds Max, Maya, Element3D and many other 3D editing software. Using the FBX format will allow you to import the 3D grenade model with most of the material-setup already complete, simplifying your workflow and saving you valuable time.

Texture maps we have included are:

  • Grenade Albedo/Diffuse texture map
  • Grenade Ambient Occlusion texture map
  • Grenade Height/Bump texture map

New Great White Shark Effects

One of the coolest predators to have ever existed is now available on FootageCrate and RenderCrate, the Great White Shark! We have added 9 new shark effects for you to download.

We focused on creating loopable shark animations. The trick was getting both the caustics (the lighting on the shark) and the shark’s movements to loop seamlessly. That was a fun one to figure out, but we did it.

7 of these assets are in 4K resolution and are fully-loopable. You can animate the Position, Scale and Rotation to allow the Great White to swim through whatever scenes you have.

For 3D artists looking to really customize your shark animations, we’re providing the fully-rigged shark model. This comes with all the maps you need. We are also including the C4D rig we built out for these animations.

20 New tracks have been added to our Epic Music Category

The first 16 Epic Tracks were downloaded thousands of times. They have been used in commercials, Youtube videos, and several films. It was time we stepped it up.

Our latest additions cover where the original album left off. More variety serves more purpose. Give these a listen, even if you don’t need the Epic Tracks now, you’ll need them in the future.
