Love the lightning effects! I saw in the blog that you could add a displacement effect to make the lightning more jagged. How do you do that? Is there happen a tutorial video for that?

Also, I'm wondering if there's a good way to make them look like they're shooting toward/away from the camera. I saw there were a few FX that were going into camera, but wanted to have some more. Is there a way to have this be customizable? Not sure if this was made in Particular or something like that. Wondering if you might have the settings used to be able to do that?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they might've been made with cinema4D, as they have proper 3D surfaces and lighting. If you're up for the challenge though, try this tutorial by Video Copilot. About the displacement, I'm pretty sure they meant the Turbulent Displacement effect, which displaces a layer like a turbulent noise almost, just mess around with the settings to get a cool look! As for the shooting lighting, you can use the lightning strike effects, color them, and then rotate them in 3D towards/away from the camera.
