The Hitfilm forums have really helped a lot on this, but here is the latest project i have been working on:

A recreation of the opening scene of Guardians of the Galaxy.

So far I've  completed the opening Force field Orb part of it, the dialogue sequence and I'm currently working on the battle scene and Spaceship escape.

Enjoy:

Only electric accents from Footage crate have been used right now, but I plan on using a whole lot more in the next two sequences.

Looking forward to hearing your comments.

A big thank you to all the folks at ProductionCrate, because without them this scene would not have been possible.

Those Alien Landscape/explosion assets and Adrien's Starlord helmet effect tutorial really came in handy just to name a few.

Amazing work! It'll be awesome seeing a side by side comparison. Nice use of the waterfall effect too!
